Class 6-A1 - 1st Semester - Week 12 Review Week and Test Scope

Hello G6-A1 Parents,

Our class will have their second round of Exams starting next week for this semester.

Please note the scheduled test dates: 

The Listening/Reading Test will be on

 Wednesday, November 13^th.

The Oral Presentation Test will be on

Thursday, November 14^th.

The Grammar Test will be on Friday November 15^th.

The English Written Test will be on Tuesday, November 19^th.

       The tests will cover the following:

FOR ALL EXAMS:

Review Communication book, Reader-Writer Book, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 6-11.

Reader-Writer 5.1 Stories and Articles –Ten Mile Day, Hold the Flag High, and The Ch’i-lin Purse

Be able to match vocabulary to its easy definition

Be familiar with the sample sentences

LISTENING / READING TEST:

Use and trust your instincts. Stay focused and listen carefully to the whole conversation before selecting your answer. Some of the questions will try and trick you.

ORAL PRESENTATION TEST:

Create a 2-3 min oral presentation persuasive story based on one of the topics

GRAMMAR TEST:

Grammar  (U 40~45)

Master (U 3-4)

WRITTEN TEST: 

Review Communication book, Reader-Writer Book, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 6-11.

Be able to match core vocabulary to its easy definition

Understand Action and Linking verbs.  Common and Proper nouns. And Possessive nouns.

Reader-Writer 5.1 Stories and Articles – Ten Mile Day, Hold the Flag High, and The Ch’i-lin Purse

You should have a good understanding of each stories plot.

 I have asked the students to bring home their books so they can prepare for the exam.
