Class 6-A1 - 1st Semester - Week 19 - Review Week and Test Scope

Hello G6-A1 Parents,

Our class will have their first round of Exams starting next week for this semester.

Please note the scheduled test dates: 

The Listening/Reading Test will be on

 Tuesday, December 31^st.

The Oral Presentation Test will be on

Thursday, January 2^nd.

The Grammar Test will be on 

Friday, January 3^rd .

The English Written Test will be on

Tuesday, January 7^th .

       The tests will cover the following:

LISTENING / READING TEST:

Use and trust your instincts. Stay focused and listen carefully to the whole conversation before selecting your answer. Some of the questions will try and trick you.

ORAL PRESENTATION TEST:

With a partner, create an original short Reader’s Theater script, 4-5 min long based on one of the topics provided.

GRAMMAR TEST:

Fun Grammar (U 46-49, 52)

Master (U 5-7)

Irregular Verbs lend-shoot

WRITTEN TEST: 

Review Communication book, Reader-Writer Book, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 12-18.

Be able to match core vocabulary to its easy definition

Reader-Writer 5.1 Stories and Articles –Midnight Ride, Mahalia Jackson, and Special Effects

Subject-Verb agreement, Irregular Verbs, Prepositions and Prepositional Phrases

You should have a good understanding of each stories plot.

 I have asked the students to bring home their books so they can prepare for the exam.
