Test Scope - Grade 6 - A1

 

Hello G6-A1 Parents,

 

Our class will have their first round of Exams starting next week for this semester.

 

Please note the scheduled test dates: 

The Listening/Reading Test will be on

 Wednesday, September 27^th.

The Oral Presentation Tests will be on

Tuesday, 26^th, Wednesday 27^th and Thursday 28^th.

The Grammar Test will be on Thursday 28^th.

 

The English Written Test will be on

Wednesday, October 4^th.

 

       The tests will cover the following:

 

LISTENING / READING TEST:

Use and trust your instincts. Stay focused and listen carefully to the whole conversation before selecting your answer. Some of the questions will try and trick you.

 

ORAL PRESENTATION TEST:

Create an original short story, 3-4 min. long based on the Neptune topic provided.

 

WRITTEN TEST: 

Review Communication book, Reader-Writer Book, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 1-5.

Be able to match core vocabulary to its definition

Reader-Writer 5.2 Stories and Articles –Weslandia, Tripping Over the Lunch Lady

 

Comprehension of events in the stories is a must.

You should have a good understanding of each stories plot.

 

Subject and Object pronouns. Pronouns and Antecedents.

 

 

 

 I have asked the students to bring home their books so they can prepare for the exam.
