Grade 5 (A) - 2nd Semester - Week 5 - Review Week

Hello Parents,

Our class will have their first round of Exams starting next week for this semester.

Please note the scheduled test dates: 

The Listening/Reading Test will be on Wednesday, March, 13^th.

The Oral Presentation Test will be on Thursday, March, 14^th.

The Grammar Test will be on Monday March 18^th.

The English Written Test will be on Wednesday, March, 20^th.

       The tests will cover the following:

FOR ALL EXAMS:

Review Communication book, Reader-Writer Book, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 1-4.

Reader-Writer 4.2 Stories and Articles – Seeker of Knowledge, Encantado: Pink Dolphin of the Amazon

Be able to match vocabulary to its easy definition

LISTENING / READING TEST:

Use and trust your instincts. Stay focused and listen carefully to the whole conversation before selecting your answer. Some of the questions will try and trick you.

ORAL PRESENTATION TEST:

Choose a story topic and create a 2-3 min oral presentation story to perform in front of the class

GRAMMAR FINAL TEST:

Fun Grammar Units 16 – 20

WRITTEN TEST: 

Review Communication book, Reader-Writer Book, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 1-4.

Reader-Writer 4.2 Stories and Articles – Seeker of Knowledge, Encantado: Pink Dolphin of the Amazon

Know and be able to recognize the main characters of the stories.

Be able to match vocabulary to its easy definition

Be able to unscramble vocabulary words

Review subject and object pronouns

Review possessive pronouns

Review the skill of Compare and Contrast

The students must know the content of the stories. Please re-read all the main stories.

 I have asked the students to bring home their books so they can prepare for the exam.
