Test Scope for the 1st exams

 

Review & Test Weeks – Weeks 8  & 9

Hello G6- A1 Parents,

 

Our class will have their first round of Exams starting next week for this semester.

 

Please note the scheduled test dates:

 

The Listening/Reading Test will be on

 Wednesday - April 3^rd.

 

The Oral Presentation Tests will be on

Monday - April 1^st, Tuesday – April 2^nd,  and Wednesday – April 3^rd.

 

The English Written Test will be on

Tuesday – April 9^th.

 

       The tests will cover the following:

 

LISTENING / READING TEST:

 

Use and trust your instincts. Stay focused and listen carefully to the whole conversation before selecting your answer. Some of the questions will try and trick you.

 

ORAL PRESENTATION TEST:

 

Create an original short story, 3-4 min. long based on the topic provided.

 

 

WRITTEN TEST:

 

Review Communication book, Reader-Writer Book, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 2-7.

Be able to match core vocabulary to its definition

Reader-Writer 5.2 Stories and Articles – Journey to the Centre of the Earth, Ghost Towns of the American West, The Truth About Austin’s Bats.

 

Comprehension of events in the stories is a must.

You should have a good understanding of each stories plot.
